Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, located at 132 River Road East, is the first family owned and operated full-service funeral home in the town of Wasaga Beach. The town’s population has increased significantly over the years and Wasaga Beach has seen much progress and expansion. Through nearly two decades the Watts Funeral Home has adapted and added services to meet the needs of their growing community serving many families through difficult times.

Whether a family chooses a Traditional Funeral or a Celebration of Life, a cemetery burial or a cremation, the Watts family strives to ensure a caring response for each family’s progress through grief, tailoring each service to their unique needs. While some families may choose to hold a formal visitation to take place a day before their funeral service, some also choose to hold visitation and service concurrently. Many families currently opt for a Memorial Service while others prefer to hold a private family service. The Watts family make all their clients aware of the multitude of options available in the new Death Care Industry.

With a combined experience of 120 years as licensed funeral directors, Max, Barbara, and their son Darrin Watts understand and embrace the professionalism, dignity, and respect required by their vocation. Every family is given an opportunity for reflection, and choices that fit their needs and traditions.

With a comfortable atmosphere and respect for each family’s budget, Max, Barbara, and Darrin gently guide families through difficult times and decisions. Thorough knowledge of advances in the industry, and Darrin’s understanding of the options now available is a valuable asset to the families of Wasaga Beach. Darrin is the next generation of Watts Funeral Home, and will continue serving Wasaga Beach for the decades to come.
